【Service Delays Due to Intensive Construction Work on the Tomei Expressway】
Due to intensive construction work on certain sections of the Tomei Expressway during the following dates, significant delays may occur.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause passengers traveling on the affected services and kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation.
■ Road Closure at Night: Oi-Matsuda IC to Tokyo IC (both directions)
■ Nighttime Road Closure Period: From 12:00 a.m. on Monday, October 19, 2026, to 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 7, 2026.
■ Affected Services: Services from Shikoku to Tokyo and from Tokyo to Shikoku.
Note： If services from Tokyo to Shikoku are delayed, connecting services may also be delayed, including the Matsuyama Shuttle (Naruto to Matsuyama) and the Kochi Shuttle (Naruto to Kochi).
As a result, services from the Tokai region to Kochi (including the Kosoku Miyoshi Bus Stop) and Ehime, as well as services from the Hokuriku region to Kochi (including the Kosoku Miyoshi Bus Stop) and Ehime, may also be delayed.
